Italian Salad Dressing Mix
List of Ingredients
1/3 C dry grated Parmesan (or Romano) cheese
1 T Garlic powder
1 T Onion powder
1 T Paprika
1 T Celery seeds
1 T Sesame seeds
1 t Oregano, rubbed
1/2 t Salt
Recipe
Mix ingredients and store refrigerated in an air-tight container. Will keep for several
months.
To use in an oil-and-vinegar dressing:
Mix 1 T mix with 1/4 C vinegar, 2 T water, and 2/3 C oil (or a
combination of oils to equal this amount) in a covered container. Shake
vigorously.
To use with mayonnaise or yogurt as a salad dressing:
Mix 1 T mix with 1/4 C mayonnaise and 1 T water in a covered
container. Shake vigorously.
To use with mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream as a dip:
Mix 1 T mix with 1/4 C of spread. (You can also add some Dijon mustard
and other herbs to your preference.) Serve with raw vegetables.
