    Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

    List of Ingredients

    2 T Butter or Margarine
    1 medium Onion, chopped
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    4 boneless Chicken breasts, cubed
    1 small can Mushrooms, drained
    1/2 C Milk
    1 T Dried Parsley
    1/2 # Spaghetti or Linguine
    1/4 C grated Parmesan Cheese
    1 10 oz. Can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup






    Recipe

    Sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender.
    Add chicken and brown on both sides. Add mushroom.
    Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheese and parsley.
    Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions, cooking only minimum time indicated.
    Drain and put into baking dish.
    Arrange chicken pieces on top, cover with sauce and sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired
    Bake at 400F for about 20 minutes.
    Serves 4.
    Note:
    I added a dash of garlic powder, a grinding of fresh pepper and about 1/2 t onion powder to enhance the flavor a bit more.
    I used a shaped pasta (rather than linguini or fettucini)to make this. Worked fine.
