Raisin Pie

1 C sugar
3 T flour
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 C boiling water
1 1/2 C raisins
1/4 C lemon juice
1 double pie crust
Recipe
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine sugar, flour and salt in a 2-qt. saucepan. Add boiling water slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear.
Add raisins, lemon juice and butter. Mix together.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover with top crust into which steam vents have been cut. Bake about 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
