1/2 oz Butter
2 thin slices Bacon, chopped
1 # Potatoes
1 large Onion
1 C hot Water
Salt and Pepper
Recipe
Melt the butter in a pan. Peel and slice the onion and fry in the butter with the bacon. Peel and slice the potatoes and add them to the pan. Season and add the water to a depth of 1-1 1/2 inch. Put the lid on the pan and cook slowly for 1-1 1/2 hours. Stir as necessary to prevent the potatoes sticking to the pan.
