Spiced Apple Rings
List of Ingredients
4 medium apples
2 C water
3/4 C sugar
2 t cinnamon
Recipe
Bring the water, sugar and cinnamon slowly to a boil. Reduce heat
and simmer five minutes.
Peel the apples and cut them into rings 1/4 inch thick. Add to the sugar mixture and simmer until soft (approx 30 minutes). Allow to cool. Cover and refrigerater for up to 3 weeks.
A lovely addition when serving Roast Pork, Turkey or Chicken.
