Cream of Garlic Soup

3/4 C garlic, peeled
3 T olive oil
2 1/2 C chicken broth
1 C white wine
2 1/2 C milk
1 C heavy cream
1 large potato, peeled and cubed
Recipe
Mince garlic cloves and sauté in olive oil just until they turn golden
brown. Add broth and wine. Heat just until boiling and then simmer for 30
minutes.
Add milk, cream, and the potato. Simmer an additional 30 minutes. Blend in
blender for about 1 minute. Serve. You may want to reheat soup after
blending.
