    Pasta Fagioli 1(Macaroni and Beans)

    List of Ingredients

    16 oz. Bowtie Pasta or Ditalini
    1/4 C Olive Oil
    4 Cloves Garlic, minced
    Chopped Fresh Basil
    1 Can (14.5 oz) Great Northern Beans
    1 Can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes, drained OR
    Chopped Fresh Plum Tomatoes
    1 Chicken Bouillon Cube
    1 C Hot Water
    Grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese




    Recipe

    In a small saucepan, saute Garlic in Olive Oil a few minutes to 'sweat'. Add drained Beans and dissolved Bouillon. Let simmer 5-10 minutes. Add Tomatoes and lots of Fresh Basil to taste. Simmer a few more minutes.
    Toss with Cooked, hot Macaroni.
    Serve with Parmesan or Romano Cheese.
