Mock Artichokes

List of Ingredients




3 tbls. butter
3 to 4 green onions, chopped
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 (16-oz.) can green beans, drained and cut into about 1/2-inch pieces
1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
For topping:
1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 to 2 tbls. butter

Recipe



Saute green onions in butter until wilted. Add crushed garlic. Add drained green beans. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Remove from stove and add mushrooms, cheese and 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs. Place in casserole and top with remaining bread crumbs and dot with butter.
Bake until bubbly, about 25 minutes in 325-degree oven.
Serves 4.
