My Favorite Brussel Sprouts*
List of Ingredients
1 10 oz Box frozen Brussel Sprouts or 1 # Fresh
Several Strips lean Bacon, snipped with scissors
Vinegar
Recipe
If using fresh Sprouts, wash, trim and slash bottoms.
In a covered casserole, microcook snipped Bacon a few minutes.
Add Sprouts to casserole,stir to coat with Bacon and grease, cover and Microcook until they are tender, stopping once to stir.
Season with Salt and freshly Ground Pepper to taste.
Serve with any flavor Vinegar you prefer.
Years ago, in my former life, when I was married and my husband traveled, this is what I would make myself for dinner when I was alone.
I still make it and enjoy it today as a side dish.
