List of Ingredients
- 16 ounces ground extra-lean pork
- 1 cup (one 8-ounce can) Hunt's Tomato Sauce
- 1 3/4 cups (one 14.5-ounce can) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3 cups reduced-sodium tomato juice
- 1 cup (one 8-ounce can) crushed pineapple, packed in fruit juice, undrained
- 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup (one 2-ounce jar) chopped pimiento, drained
- 2 tablespoons pourable Splenda or Sugar Twin
- 1 tablespoon chili seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown pork.
- Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray.
- In prepared container, combine browned pork, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, and tomato juice.
- Stir in undrained pineapple, onion, and green pepper.
- Add pimiento, Splenda, chili seasoning, parsley flakes, and black pepper.
- Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
- Mix well before serving.
