Pepermint Chocolate Fudge
This one came from a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. It is a personal favorite of mine.
List of Ingredients
- 1 (11.5 oz.) package of Milk Chocolate Chips (2 cups)
- 1cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- pinch of Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 cup crushed, hard peppermint candy
Instructions
- In a sauce pan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk, and salt.
- Remove from heat; stir in extract.
- Spread evenly into foil-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.
- Sprinkle with peppermint candy.
- Chill 2 hours or until firm.
- Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.
- Store loosely covered at room temperature.
- Makes about 2 pounds of fudge.
