    Pepermint Chocolate Fudge

    This one came from a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. It is a personal favorite of mine.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (11.5 oz.) package of Milk Chocolate Chips (2 cups)
    • 1cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
    • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    • pinch of Salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
    • 1/4 cup crushed, hard peppermint candy


    Instructions


    1. In a sauce pan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk, and salt.
    2. Remove from heat; stir in extract.
    3. Spread evenly into foil-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.
    4. Sprinkle with peppermint candy.
    5. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
    6. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.
    7. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
    8. Makes about 2 pounds of fudge.
