    Sugar Cookies with Cracked Top

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 cups butter flavor Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 cups flour(do not sift)
    4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt

    Mix sugars, shortening and eggs. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll in walnut size balls and dip in sugar. Do not flatten. Bake 350/375 degrees for 10/12 min.
