Pear Butter
List of Ingredients
16 cups of fresh pear sauce
(use 8 pears cored and peeled, 2 cups of water and boil pears until well done, then push through a
sieve)
3 lbs. brown sugar
1 tablespoon of powdered cinnamon
Combine all ingredients and bake at 350 for 3 hours. Stir every 20 minutes or so. Pour
into jars and seal. Yields 5 quarts. Great on toast! Recipe
