Recipe Introduction
This is the first recipe we made in Teen Living class. It is a great way to get a tasty fruit serving for breakfast or a snack.
List of Ingredients
1/2 bannana, peeled and sliced
1 cup unsweetened frozen berries
(or other frozen fruit such as melon, papaya, pineapple)
1/2 cup low fat milk
1/2 cup orange juce
1 scoop of frozen yogurt or vanilla ice milk
Recipe
1. Peel and slice banana.
2. Add banana and frozen fruit to blender.
3. Add milk, orange juice, and frozen yogurt.
4. Cover tightly.
5. Blend until smooth. If mixture is too thick, add 1/2 cup cold water and blend again.
6. Pour into 2 glasses and serve.
