Cream of Leek and Potato Soup

List of Ingredients
3 cups sliced leeks
3 cups peeled baking potatoes, chopped
6 cups water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup chivesRecipe
In a large heavy pan, bring the leeks, potatoes, water and salt to a boil over high heat. Simmer 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Puree. Add cream. Top with sour cream and chives.
