    Stuffed Jalapenos

These are very powerful and should always be served with lots of cold beer

    List of Ingredients

    • 12 jalapeno peppers (2 1/2 - 3 inches long)
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 Tbs milk
    • 2/3 cup fine bread crumbs
    • 1 container sour cream (for dipping)
    • Beer (for drinking)

    Instructions

    1. Cover a large baking sheet with foil. Set aside.
    2. Cut each pepper in 1/2 lengthwise. Remove seeds and membranes.
    3. Stir together cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Italian seasoning in a medium mixing bowl.
    4. Spoon cheese mixture into each pepper half.
    5. Beat together eggs and milk in a small mixing bowl.
    6. Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.
    7. Dip each pepper half into egg mixture and then roll in bread crumbs.
    8. Place pepper halves, filled side up, on baking sheet.
    9. Bake in a 325 degree oven about 30 minutes (till tender and heated through)
    10. Serve with sour cream (and beer)
