Roasted Turkey Legs with Veggies
Recipe Introduction
Cooked slow, this recipe produces very tender turkey meat topped with flavor soaked veggies - and it doesn't cost much to make - turkey legs are generally pretty inexpensive.
List of Ingredients
- 2 Turkey legs
- 2 Tbs chicken boullion granule
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- Liptions Secret Soup mix - your favorite flavor
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 bag baby carrots
- 4 med potatoes - peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Place turkey legs in roasting pan. Cover with boullion and Lipton soup mix
- Sprikle onion over legs
- Pour chicken broth over legs
- Mix cream of chicken soup with milk and water. Pour over legs.
- Cover and bake for 4 hours, basting occasionally. (add more water if necessary)
- Toss in potatoes and carrots and cook, uncovered 1 hour (till done)
