    The best cornbread anyplace. Like only Pawdy could make!!!!

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups self rising corn meal mix
    1 cup self rising flour
    1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    2 eggs
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 stick margarine, melted

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 450'.
    Pour into your cast iron skillet enough oil to cover bottom. Sprinkle with some corn meal mix and sit into heated oven.
    While this is browning, mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stirring to mix thoroughly.

    Pour into prepared skillet and bake for 35-30 minutes.

    Turn out onto plate and slice.
