    This recipe was published in the Market Bulletin by Mrs. Franklin Conner. This recipe was a prize winner in the 1978 Vidalia Onion Festival.

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups Vidalia Onions, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup milk
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 Tablespoons flour
    deep dish pie shell, baked
    3 Tablespoons melted butter
    1 1/2 cup sour cream
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 slices bacon, fried crispy and crumbled

    Recipe



    Cook onion in butter til lightly browned. Spoon into pastry shell. Combine milk, sour cream, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix well & pour over onion mixture. Garnish with bacon. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or til firm in the center. Serves 6-8.
