    Baby Ruth Cookies

    Just found this so I haven't tried it yet but hope to soon.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter
    • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 large Baby Ruth candy bay , chopped


    Instructions


    1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until lemony in color.
    2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then blend well again.
    3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
    4. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and blend well, working the dough with a wooden spoon.
    5. Fold in the chopped Baby Ruth candy bar and refrigerate the dough for about an hour, or overnight.
    6. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
    7. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
    9. Remove from oven and let stand for about 5 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.
