    Cookie Apple Cobbler


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups sliced, peeled apples
    • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 20 ounce roll Pillsbury's Best Refrigerated Suagar Cookies
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a medium bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, allspice and lemon juice; toss to coat apples well.
    3. Spoon into ungreased 8 inch square pan.
    4. Using half of cookie dough,drop by scant teaspoons evenly over apples. (Wrap remaining cookie dough; refrigerate for later use.)
    5. In small bowl, combine sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over cookie dough.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are tender.
    7. YIELD: 6 servings
