    Noodle Rice Pilaf

    So tasty and comforting. Great with any meat dish!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 cup long grain rice
    • 1/2 cup uncooked fine egg noodles or vermicelli
    • 2 3/4 cups chicken broth
    • 2 tablespoons minced parsley


    Instructions


    1. In a medium saucepan melt the butter.
    2. Add the rice and noodles; cook and stir until lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
    3. Stir in broth; bring to a boil.
    4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until broth is absorbed and rice is tender.
    5. Stir in parsley.
    6. YIELD: 4 servings
