    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (about 18 oz.)
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. strawberry muesli cereal
    1 jar strawberry preserves (12 oz)

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine cake mix and brown sugar in a large bowl; use a pastry blender to cut in butter. Stir in cereal. Reserve 1 1/2 c. of mixture. Press remaining cereal mixture into an ungreased 9x13 baking pan. Spread preserves over crust almost to edges of pan. Sprinkle remaining cereal mixture over preserves. Bake 35-38 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cool in pan on a wir rack. Cut into 1x2 inch bars. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 4 doz. bars.
