Buffalo Chip Cookies
This makes a HUGE batch of cookies, so you may prefer to cut it in half.
List of Ingredients
- LIST A:
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 lb. stick butter, softened
- LIST B:
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- LIST C:
- 4 c. flour (you may find you need a bit more)
- 2 c. oatmeal (not instant)
- 2 c. cornflakes
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- LIST D:
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. chips, chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter or a combination
Instructions
- Cream together the ingredients of LIST A.
- Add LIST B and beat well
- In a separate container, combine the dry ingredients of LIST C and mix well. Begin adding to wet ingredients in small increments stirring well after each addition.
- When thoroughly mixed, add LIST D and fold in evenly.
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oveen for about 12 minutes.
Final Comments
Walnuts, pecans, black walnuts or macadamia's? They are all good in this recipe.
