    Chocolate Cookies from a Cake Mix

    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg. Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake mix
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup Giradelli double chocolate chips
    Optional: 1/2 c. nuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350.
    Mix cake mix, eggs, melted butter and vanilla in a bowl. Stir with a spoon until thoroughly blended. Stir in chips. Drop by tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet (I use my baking stones).
    Bake at 350 for 12 minutes for chewy cookies or 14 for crisp. I like my chewy. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets. Remove to cooling racks.
    Store in an airtight container.

    These are so good! No one will know it's from a cake mix!
