Recipe Introduction
This came from a friend that worked in a location that fed several hundred each meal. The sauce recipe has been reduced, but still makes a very large amount of sauce. I like to put it in meal sized portions in the freezer for easy meals later.
List of Ingredients
½ c. butter
2 medium onions, chopped
1 ½ c. green bell peppers, chopped
½ c. dried parsley flakes
3 tbls. garlic salt
6 lbs. ground beef
1 gal. tomatoes
1 gal. tomato puree
salt to taste
hot cooked spaghetti
Mozzarella cheese
Recipe
Sauté onion and peppers in oleo. Add salts, parsley and burger. Cook until meat is browned. Add tomato products. Simmer until creamy in consistency, stirring frequently to prevent sticking and burning.
Layer the spaghetti, and sauce in baking pan. Top with Mozzarella cheese and bake at 350° until well heated and the cheese melts.
