    Scrumptious Scallops

    A wonderfully easy way to prepare a delightful scallop dinner.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. bay or sea scallops, rinsed and drained
    • 1/4 c. lemon juice
    • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
    • 2 tbls. lemon pepper


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350°
    2. Pat scallops dry with paper towels and place in a lightly greased casserole dish (about 1 quart size)
    3. Bake scallops in preheated oven for 5 minutes.
    4. While scallops are in the oven, combine the lemon juice and garlic in a small bowl.
    5. Remove the scallops from the oven and spoon the lemon juice mixture over the top and sprinkle with lemon pepper.
    6. Return to the oven and bake until firm, about 10 minutes.


    Final Comments


    Because of the acid in the lemon juice, I prefer to use a glass or ceramic pan for this recipe.
