List of Ingredients

1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. finely chopped dried apricots
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt



Recipe

-Place brown sugar in bottom of a wide mouth quart canning jar. Press in firmly.
-Place sugar in jar.
-Place nuts in jar.
-Place chopped apricots in jar next. Press down GENTLY.
-Place flour, soda and salt in a small bowl and blend well with a whisk.
-Place flour mixture in the jar.
-Decorate jar lid if desired.

APRICOT NUT BREAD
1-empty ingredients from jar into a large bowl. Blend with your hands.
2-Add 3 eggs, beaten and 3/4 c. vegetalbe oil. Mix until just blended.
3-Place batter into a sprayed 9" x 5" x 2 1/2" loaf pan.
4-Bake 50-60 minutes at 325°.
