    APRICOT & DATE CHUTNEY

    500G Dried apricots
    1 ½ Cups Sultanas
    1 ½ Cups White wine vinegar
    ¾ Cup Brown sugar
    250g Chopped dates
    1/3 Cup Preserved ginger chopped
    1 Cup Water
    1 Tbsp. Salt
    1 ½ Tsp. Mustard seeds
    ½ Tsp. Chilli powder

    Recipe



    Cover apricots with water & leave to soak 1 hour, then drain. Place in a pan with the sultanas & vinegar, bring slowly to the boil & simmer for 15min.
    Stir in the remaining ingredients & simmer until thickened.
    Pour into hot sterilised jars & seal then label.
