HOT APPLE CHUTNEY
A simple piquant easy-to-make chutney
List of Ingredients
1Kg Grannies peeled & chopped
1 onion finely chopped
3 Cloves garlic chopped
300ml Malt Vinegar
3 Tsp. Ginger
2 Tsp. Mustard seed
1 Tsp. Chilli
125g Brown sugar
Recipe
Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover & MW at 100% for 15min.
Stir & taste, adjust for seasoning if necessary.
Allow to cool then bottle.
To make this a sauce liquidise the contents of jar & use.
To make the chutney hotter, add some extra chilli but be careful to remember the amount you add will be the amount of flavour you keep.
