Grapefruit Marmalade

GRAPEFRUIT MARMALADE MW
3 Grapefruit. 1 Lemon 300ml Water. 500g Sugar.
Recipe
Roughly chop the fruit & place in a bowl with the water. Cover & MW at 100% for 12min.
Remove as many pips as possible & chop again or shred. I throw the lot on the food processor for a few seconds..
Return to the bowl & add the sugar, stirring well. MW uncovered at 100% for 10min. then at 50% for 15min..
Use the usual wrinkle test then fill jars & seal. Occasionally a microwaved marmalade or jam will need extra commercial pectin added because the natural pectin is not always enough to set the fruit.
