Shirley's Cinnamon Sticky Buns

List of Ingredients
- 1 packet Fleishmann's Dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (100 - 110 degrees)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour
- melted butter - I use very soft butter that I've microwaved for 15 seconds.
- cinnamon sugar - 1/2 c granulated sugar, tablespoon cinnamon, 1/4 c brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
- Wisk in egg, oil, sugar,and salt.
- Add flour and mix.
- Cover and let dough rise for 2 hours.
- Turn out onto a floured board and knead.
- Spead dough into a rectangle. Lightly butter the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll dough, long side to long side, into a long roll. Cut into 1 -- 1 1/2 inch slices, placing them on a buttered cookie sheet, parchment or baking mats. Leave about 2" between each slice or enough room to allow for rising.
- Allow rolls to rise in a warm place for 2 hours.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- Makes about 16-20 rolls depending on how you slice them.
