    Spritz Cookies

    These buttery cookies have been a family favorite for years. This is Shirley Ronnie's recipe from a 1930's cookbook that was her mothers. They seem to always be on the cookie trays during the holidays.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 cup butter (softened)
    • 2 1/2 cups flour
    • 3 egg yolks
    • 1 tsp. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Cream sugar and butter together with mixer.
    2. Add egg yolks, flour and vanilla. Beat until mixed well.
    3. Bake 10 minutes at 375 - 400 degrees. Cookies should be removed just before they start to brown.
