Strawberry Jello Salad
The salad first showed up at a family gathering in the 70's. Nancy (Kurth) Larson gave us the recipe, which has been on many a shower buffet table. I always hope for left overs as it's one of my personal favorites!
List of Ingredients
- 1 large box Strawberry Jello
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 small boxes frozen strawberries (thawed)
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 2 cups well mashed bananas
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
Instructions
- Prepare Jello with the water, stirring until all crystals are desolved, in a large bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix.
- Put 1/2 of the mixture in a 13" X 9" pan. Let set in the refrigerator until partially set.
- Frost with the sour cream. Top with the rest of the Jello mixture.
