    Strawberry Pretzel Salad

    Another version of the Strawberry Jello Recipe, introduced to us be our friend Nancy Rodriguez.

    List of Ingredients





    2 cups crushed pretzels
    1 cup melted margarine or butter
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese softened
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup Cool Whip, whipped topping
    1 (6 oz) pkg strawberry gelatin
    2 cups boiling water
    2 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries, thawed and drained

    Recipe



    Mix pretzels, oleo and 1/4 cup sugar in bowl.
    Spread in 13 x 9 pan and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.

    Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar in mixer bowl until light.

    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in bowl.Chill until partially set. Stir in strawberries.Spread over cream cheese layer.

    Chill until set.

    Yields 15 servings
