Even the kids will love this one. List of Ingredients 8 ears corn or 1 -- 16oz. Bag Frozen White Corn 1 cup whipping cream 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons sugar Butter or margarine 2 teaspoons flour Grated or shredded Parmesan cheese (fresh works best) Instructions Cut corn from cob (or open package of frozen corn) and place in saucepan with whipping cream. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in salt and sugar. Melt 2 teaspoons butter in small pan and stir in flour. Do not brown. Stir butter-flour roux into corn and cook until slightly thickened. Turn corn into oven-proof dish. Sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter. Brown under broiler. Makes 8 - 10 servings. Final Comments ***I also add about 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese to the corn mixture before I place in the oven. This recipe is easily doubled or tripled for a large gathering. A triple recipe is what I need for our Holiday dinner.
