    Mrs. Weavers Dessert

    Here's another good one from Mary Weaver. It is equally good with any flavor of pie filling. I've had it since 1970 when I went to work for her at Weaver's Lawn & Garden.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 large can pie filling, fruit or flavor of your choice
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 2/3 cup brown sugar
    • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/3 cup butter


    Instructions


    1. Pour the can of pie filling into an 8x8 pan.
    2. Mix the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl until crumbly.
    3. Cover the pie filling with this mixture.
    4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes until brown and bubbly.


    Final Comments


    Mrs. Weaver couldn't believe it when I asked for this recipe. It had always been a throw-together dish for her. She had to wait until the next time she made it and measure out the ingredients. Thanks Mary, I've loved this recipe!
