Sweet Potato Casserole

List of Ingredients



• 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes, about 2 lbs.
  
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  
• 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  
• 1/2 cup milk
  
• 1/4 cup butter, melted
  
• 1/2 tsp salt
  
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  
• Topping:
  
• 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, pecans, and other nuts
  
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  
• 1/3 cup butter
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a shallow 2-quart casserole dish.
   
   
2. In a medium bowl, stir together
   the potatoes, granulated sugar, eggs, milk,
   butter, salt & vanilla.
   
   
3. Place this mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
   
   
4. Make the topping:
   
5. In a small bowl,
   stir together the brown sugar, nuts, & flour.
   Sprinkle over the top of the casserole. Dot with butter.
