4 -1/2 cups party mix or crispy multi-grain cereal
2 tablespoons Butter Flavor CRISCO Shortening or Butter Flavor CRISCO Stick
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup Jif® Peanut Butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar


Recipe



Measure party mix or cereal into a large mixing bowl.
In a microwave safe bowl melt CRISCO shortening, chocolate chips and peanut butter on 50% power, checking at 1 minute intervals.
Remove mixture from microwave and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour over cereal and mix until well coated. Place confectioners’ sugar in a resealable plastic bag; add coated cereal and toss to coat well.
Spread double-coated cereal onto sheet of wax paper to cool. Pick up coated cereal with hands and store in an airtight container. Discard excess sugar.
Refrigerate coated cereal.
