Bohemian Boiled Dumplings
The first time I ate these was at a Bohemian banquet. I was hooked and it took me many years to get a recipe. I don’t remember who gave it to me.

The first time I ate these was at a Bohemian banquet. I was hooked and it took me many years to get a recipe. I don’t remember who gave it to me.
2 eggs
1 cup cold water
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
2 heaping teaspoons baking powder\
Bring large kettle of water to a boil.
Whisk all dry ingredients together.
Beat eggs with the water.
Add to dry ingredients, blend.
Knead in about 1/4 to 1/2 cup more flour.
Form into 3 inch balls. Drop into boiling water.
Boil vigorously for 10 minutes
****Do not remove cover from pot while cooking.*****
These can be cooled and refrigerated.
Reheat in the oven covered, or in a microwave.
Cut in slices to serve.
