    Butterscotch Nut Bread

    1 pound light brown sugar
    3 tablespoons melted butter
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups buttermilk
    4 cups flour
    1/2 cups chopped nuts.

    Preheat oven to 325 F
    Grease and flour 2 4x8 loaf pans

    Put all ingredients but the nuts in a large mixer bowl. Mix on low just to blend, and then on high for 3 minutes. Stir in nuts.
    Pour into prepared pans.
    Bake for 1 hour or until it tests done.
