Chocolate Desert for Twelve
package (12 ounces) chocolate chips
2 tablespoons water
3 eggs separated
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup cream, whipped
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 12 or 16 ounce Angel Food Cake
Break cake into 9x13x2 inch pan.
Melt chocolate and water in a double boiler.
Stir in the egg yolks
Whip the cream,
Beat egg whites, gradually add the sugar, beating until stiff. Do not over beat.
Fold the beaten whites into the whipped cream.
Fold into the chocolate and mix thoroughly.
Pour the mixture over the cake, making sure all the cake pieces are covered
Chill six hours.
