Frankfurter Surprise
1 recipe biscuit dough
8 frankfurters
1 medium onion, peeled and diced.
3 tablespoon butter, divided
2 tablespoons mustard of choice.
Roll biscuit dough into rectangle 1/4 inches thick
Cut into oblong pieces, the length of the hot dog, and 3 to 4 inches wide.
Preheat the oven to 400 F
Melt 1 tablespoon butter, cook the onions, until slightly brown.
Spread each piece of dough with mustard and dab on some onions.
Place the dog on top, and roll up. Pinch all edges together.
Place on buttered sheet, with sides.
Brush each roll with butter.
Bake for 20 minutes, until nicely browned.
