Oven Bar-B-Que Meat Balls
1 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup milk
2 pounds ground beef
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup cider vinegar
4 1/2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup ketchup (I use Heinz)
3/4 cup water
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
3 tablespoons oil
Preheat oven to 375
Mix bread crumbs milk and beef, using your hands.
Form into balls, golf ball size.
Heat oil in Dutch oven.
Brown meat balls a few at a time, adding more oil if necessary.
Remove to a bowl as they are browned.
Drain all fat from Dutch Oven and return all the meat balls.
Add rest of ingredients and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
