    1 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 (about) milk

    Mis well, making a stuff dough. Have stew nearly done. Drop batter by spoonfuls. This amount should cover the top. Let cook slowly for 15 minutes uncovered. Put cover on and cook for 15 minutes more.
