2/3 cup margarine
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
Recipe
Melt margarine and blend with sugar. Add eggs and cool. Sift dry ingredients together and add to cooled mixture. Fold in nuts. Spread batter in a greased shallow pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool slightly then cut in squares. Remove from pan when cooled.
