    EZ Bread and Butter Pickles

    List of Ingredients




    4 quarts cucumbers -- sliced
    4 small onions -- sliced
    1/2 cup salt
    2 1/2 cups sugar
    3 cups vinegar
    1 tablespoon mustard seed
    1 teaspoon celery seed
    1 teaspoon turmeric powder


    Recipe



    Cover cucumbers, onions and salt with water and let set overnight. In morning, drain. Cook, adding rest of ingredients until transparent. Pack hot in pint jars. Makes 10-12 pints.
