4 tablespoons onions -- chopped
6 tablespoons butter -- melted
4 cups day old bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon thyme or sage
1 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons water or milk (optional)
1 egg
Recipe
Saute onions in melted butter for about 10 minutes or until tender. Add the onions, seasonings and egg to the bread crumbs and mix thoroughly. If dressing seems very dry, add 2 tablespoons water, milk or fish stock to moisten.
