    A quick bread, great with soups, chilies or stews.

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups self-rising or all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. of baking powder
    1 tsp. of salt (optional)
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can of beer



    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl, mix all ingredients well. Lightly spray a non-stick loaf pan with cooking spray, or grease with 1 teaspoon of canola oil. Pour mix into pan. Bake for 1 hour. Let cool in pan for 5-10 minutes, then finish cooling on rack.

    Makes 12 servings. Nutritional values per serving: 134 calories, 0.3g fat, 0mg cholesterol, 1.1g fiber, 398mg sodium.
