    10 one cup servings

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound lean beef -- (or turkey)
    1 medium onion -- chopped
    26 ounces spaghetti sauce -- Healthy Choice
    12 ounces cottage cheese, 2% fat -- (I used fat free)
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese -- Grated
    1 egg
    12 ounces lasagna noodles
    12 ounces mozzarella cheese -- 2%

    Recipe



    Brown meat and onion in skillet. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 5 minutes. Add about 1/2 cup water at this point.

    In a seperate bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan, and all but 1/2 cup of mozzarella. MIx thoroughly.

    Spray crockpot dish with non-stick spray. Spoon a layer of sauce, 2 layers of noodles, and a layer of cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce on top.
    Add more water (about another 1/2 cup.) Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for about 3 hours.
